Burnt Bread terminology

At the start of September 2023, I came up with a system for categorizing different types of works of my favorite ship - Glass Joe / Aran Ryan, a.k.a. "Burnt Bread". It sorts works based on two four-level scales, namely of length and intensity.

Length

Intensity

When you don't care how long a work is, you simply call it bread, and when you don't care about how explicit it is, you simply call it burnt.

Examples

Scorched Crumb

A drawing of Glass Joe as an Heir of Hope and Aran Ryan as a Witch of Rage.

Scorched Slice

A six-panel comic.

Panel 1. Aran Ryan and Glass Joe are sitting in a mysterious room.
Aran: 'I'm afraid of losing me marbles outside the ring...'

Panel 2. Cut closer to Aran's sad face.
Aran: 'What if I end up hurting ye? Or killing half a city in a gunfight like some eejit?'

Panel 3. Joe puts his hands on Aran's.

Panel 4. Cut to an en face view of Joe's comforting smile.
Joe: 'Mon chéri... we are in biology class.'

Panel 5. Cut back to Aran's head.
    Aran: 'Wha-'

Panel 6. The whole scene turns out to have been taking place inside Tenten's head. They are the one sitting in biology class.
    Aran: 'BEJAYSUS, NOT AGAIN!'

Charred Crumbs

A drawing of Glass Joe and Aran Ryan kissing. Aran is holding Joe's bare back, Joe is holding Aran's bare shoulders, both are wearing only their boxing shorts, and are standing with their hips apart in front of a reddish-brown background, with a big faded flame behind them. Two headshots, showing Aran kissing Joe on the left cheek. Joe is smiling in delight. Behind them is a big filled-in white heart on a pink background.

I will not put any examples of incinerated bread here, but it's very easy to find on AO3.
